A Promise from God: They that Mourn, Shall be Comforted

In times of trouble, heartache and disappointment, hold on to your faith in God. Stand on the promises of God. That will carry you through. Here is a promise so needed now …

The first two verses of what we call the “Beattitudes” – Jesus teaching in Matthew 5: 1-2  

(King James Version, Holy Bible)…

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

Prayer: Lord help us to embrace your promises…even now. I know that your word brings life, healing, direction and deliverance. Thank you that we stay focused on you and your promises. Forgive us for not doing that as your children. Thank you that we get back to the basics of our faith in you. In Jesus name. Amen.
