July 6, 2026 (Eatonville, FL) – Attention new high school graduates and active college students within two years of high school graduation: The Bruce and Winnie Mount Youth Scholarship Program application opened recently, and deadline is fast approaching – Friday, July 31.
The scholarship, set up in honor of the legacy of Mayor Bruce W. Mount and his wife Mrs. Winnie Mount who were both champions of youth, education and service, according to the Town of Eatonville’s website.
Students who reside in the town are encouraged to apply. Eligibility requirements and scholarship packages can be obtained at Town Hall, 307 E. Kennedy Blvd., FL 32751 or http://www.townofeatonville.org. Applications must be returned to Town Hall to the attention of Veronica L. King, Town Clerk, Bruce and Winne Mount Youth Scholarship.
