- New Image Youth Center in Orlando recently posted two job openings: New Image Youth Counselor, Part-time position during the regular school year and Full-time during Summer months. The center is looking for someone who has graduated from an accredited high school or has a General Equivalency Diploma; one (1) year of experience in an organized educational, recreation or leisure services field working in various activities such as educational programs, youth sports, aquatics, cultural and therapeutic arts, health and fitness, community centers, etc.; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license. First Aid/CPR certified. Must be able to pass a background check. The second position is Director of Youth Programs. Just a few things you would do if you became the director: Ensure a safe and supportive environment for children and youth to learn and grow. Oversee the elementary, middle and high school classrooms, including working overseeing staff, supervision, curriculum planning and development, planning outreach events, administrative tasks and grant writing.
