Organizers for the 2016 Summer Music Camp on June 20-30 are working hard to have as many local band students as possible attend the camp.
They need help. It’s a 2-week camp for Orange County Public school middle and high school band students, focusing on the fundamentals and instrumental techniques. “This program caters to the students, families, and band programs of our lower socioeconomic areas of Orlando by providing an affordable student registration fee,” organizers say.
They need sponsors in order to keep the registration fee affordable for all participants, about 75% of the funds needed for general operation of the camp will raised through donations and sponsorships.
