The Got Skills mentoring program is looking for a senior to bless with having the exterior of their house painted for free! The painting will take place in May, with young men and volunteers of the Orlando-based program doing the painting.
The application deadline is April 6.
Organizers say there are no catches but anyone who’s interested must meet a few requirements.
Here are some of the requirements: Age – 60 years and up. Type of home: Single Family Residence. Applicant must provide proof of ownership (within Orange County) if selected for the free house painting. The home must in physical need of painting and in good condition.
The group will also help the winning senior with removing brushes and debris from around the home (within reason).
