Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” – James 5:16, KJV, The Bible
Just a friendly reminder for believers: Pray in earnest and watch things change. Pray. Our Prayers Yield Great Results. Amen.
Amplified version the scripture says it this way: “Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].”
Your prayers for others can heal YOU! So lift others up to God – your family (especially children), people who are hurting; those in hospitals and nursing homes. Cover the less fortunate and finances – that you experience the abundant life God has already promised. Declare: The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want (or lack). Thank him for direction and strategies to work the purpose he has given you. We need God. Give everything to him and watch things change.
