Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 -Bible
True wisdom comes from God. You can be wise in your own eyes. You can have the wisdom of the world. (And that changes and gets stranger by the second!) You may find yourself going in circles or doing and saying things that you are not comfortable with.
Why not ask God for his wisdom, understanding and direction? Afterall, he made you and he knows all about you. He sees what’s around the corner, really he sees and knows all. I believe he only wants what’s best for us – all of his children.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5 – Bible
Amplified Version – “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.”
Once you get the understanding, please listen (hear with the intent to do what God says). Amen.
