Jazz lovers: Make plans to attend the International Jazz Day event this Sunday, April 30, at The Hope Church in Orlando.
The event, sponsored by Greater Orlando Cares and The Hope Church, is a free jazz concert to honor Bruce V. Allen (Billboard, Stellar awards).
It will be hosted by Darrell Butler, Kalila Foy and Alvin Bell.
Featured artists and special guests: “The Hope Posse Band” w/ previews of the church’s Summer Sacred Jazz Series, Jones High School Community and Alumnae Band w/ Thelonious Monk Award Recipients and Bruce Allen, Wayman Tisdale Award Recipient.
The Hope Church is located at 3032 Monte Carlo Trail in Orlando.
