The Orange County Supervisor of Elections is looking for poll workers to cover the upcoming elections. The elections office website states that various positions are available, paying between $160-$275 per Election Day.
Note: If you are interested, you would work as a non-partisan poll worker. You must be a registered voter and attend mandatory training – a 90-minute orientation class.
The remaining dates for the class are: June 7, 9, 14 and 15. There are morning, afternoon and evening training times.
The class covers requirements for becoming a poll worker, the basic responsibilities of each position and a 30-minute disability sensitivity training video.
For more information or to sign up for one of the orientation classes, contact Mary Hignight at 407-836-2070 x46511, or Mary.Hignight@ocfelections.com.
