Central Florida: Just be mindful of evening lane closures and new service patrols – both started Sunday, Feb. 1. Service patrols are similar to Road Rangers, helping with maintenance of traffic and safety on the highway – from I-4 Mobility Partners and its maintenance provider, Infrastructure Corporation of America (ICA).
I-4 Ultimate Project will rebuild 21 miles of I-4 from Kirkman Road in Orange County to just east of State Road 434 in Seminole County, adding 2 toll express lanes each way, replacing more than 100 bridges and reconfiguring exchanges, etc. The project is expected to be complete in 2021.
