In I Corinthians 15 – Paul is talking about being consistent in the faith, the knowledge of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope of glory – the fact that we are victorious through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul ends the chapter with an encouraging word – which is what I am sharing with you today – Be Steadfast.
“Therefore, my brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].” I Corinthians 15:58 (Amplified version, The Bible)
I am encouraging you as I encourage myself…keep doing what you know is right. Right lines up with the ways and word of God.
Life gets hard sometimes – in our flesh…Asking the Holy Spirit for help is where we want to start, even in our personal goals – for work, healthier living, deeper relationship/closer walk with God.
Don’t give up.
Be Steadfast.
