This may be right on time for some young people and their parents: A College Day Fair will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Bridges Community Center in Apopka.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students in 9th-12th grades will have access to college representatives from Florida A&M University, Bethune Cookman University, University of Central Florida, Valencia Community College, Seminole State College, Florida Memorial College, Edward Waters College, Kaplan (for SAT and ACT preparation), as well as the United States Military.
High school graduation is not the end. You must do something. Work. Attend college. Start and run a business to become a productive adult in our society – working, attending college, running your own business or serving in the military.
At the College Day Fair, participants can learn about financial aid, scholarships, etc. There will also be food and entertainment.
